６月２３日（金）にハワイ大学上廣アカデミー博士トーマス・ジャクソン氏、ベンジャミン・ルーキー氏はじめ１１名の関係者が本校を訪れ、２年生の英語の授業の中で各クラスを３グループに分けてｐ４ｃ（探究の対話）を実践しました。英語の問いに対して一人ひとりが自分の意見に理由を付けて発表しました。最初はとても緊張していましたが、だんだんと緊張がほぐれて、積極的に意見を述べることができました。授業の中で、日ごろ学習している英語を用いての対話でしたが、互いに通じ合えたことはとてもよい経験になりました。

　ｐ４ｃは４月初旬に宮城教育大学の先生方を講師に招いて行いました。「とても楽しく、周りとのコミュニケーションが取れて、とても為になりました。」「とても楽しかったです。また取り組みたいと思いました。」との感想がありました。今回もとても充実した素敵な時間を共有できました。

　We had a p4c English class in June 23rd. Dr. Johnson, Dr. Benjamin, Ms. Kiki, and other staffs concerned came to ZAO high school. In class, first of all, 2nd year students introduced themselves in English and felt very nervous about speaking English. But Dr. J introduced himself and shook hands very gently with smiling. Students were also smiling and started p4c each other. The theme was that they made some questions using the superlative degree, such as “What country do you like the best? And why? What subject do you like the best? And why?” Each student answered the questions and the reasons very actively with holding a community ball. One of the students said,” I was very nervous at first, but I had slowly started to get used to this p4c. I finally felt p4c to be interesting. Someday I want to go to Hawaii to see Dr. J. Thank you very much. ”
